Doctor of Physical therapy is a vital element of today’s health treatment system. It is a “science of healing and art of caring”. It is a term used to describe the examination, evaluation, diagnostics, assessment, and management of the musculoskeletal, Neurological and Cardio-Vascular system’s functional disorders. This includes the symptoms of pain, swelling, physical, structural and psychosomatic disorders.

DPT is a method of treatment that is based on manual therapy, movement, as well as physical agents and therapies to ease the pain and other symptoms.

Therefore, physical therapy encompasses the basic aspects that are part of the healing process, i.e. preventive, promotional and diagnostic, as well as rehabilitative and curative.
