FA (IT) Overview
FA (IT), or Faculty of Arts with Information Technology, combines intermediate humanities study with Computer Science. It suits students who want to build computer literacy alongside language, communication and social-science learning.
Classroom study and computer-lab practice help students organise information, solve basic computing problems and complete academic assignments using digital tools.

FA (IT) at QIMS is offered in affiliation with the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE).

Compulsory Subjects
- English
- Urdu
- Islamic Education or the applicable alternative
- Pakistan Studies and other compulsory subjects required for the session
Elective Subjects
- Computer Science, including theory and practical learning
- Two other electives from the approved humanities subject scheme

Laboratory and Academic Learning
Computer-lab learning supports computer fundamentals, problem-solving and the practical components of the selected Computer Science syllabus. Students also develop document preparation, information handling and presentation skills through academic assignments.

The following fees cover the two-year programme. Obtain the final written payment schedule from Admissions before payment.

The scholarship calculation uses an annual tuition base of PKR 75,000.

- Colour copies of Matric result card or original certificate: 7 copies.
- Colour copies of character certificate: 7 copies.
- Passport-size photographs with a blue background: 7 photographs.
- Colour copies of the student’s CNIC or B-Form and domicile: 7 copies.
- Father’s or guardian’s CNIC copies where required: 7 copies.
- Original academic and identity documents for verification.
